Plexiglas Machining

Plexiglas Machined Parts

Meets ASTM D-4802

One of the world’s best-known brands of plastic is Plexiglas®. Often you will hear Plexiglas®, Acrylic, Polycarbonate, Lexan, and even PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate), used when referencing this thermoplastic. When extreme strength is not necessary, it is an economical alternative to polycarbonate (PC).

Of all the thermoplastics, Plexiglas® has the greatest surface hardness. High light transmission; an extremely long service life, as well as specific properties like high resistance to UV light and weathering, helps Plexiglas® to stand out from other plastics.

The fabrication and machining of Plexiglas® can be achieved with our state-of-the-art CNC machinery, including Fadal and HAAS Machining Centers.
