Acrylic also referred to as Acrylic glass, is one of the most economical and fabricated plastics for aesthetic applications. It’s used as an alternative to polycarbonate for economical purposes. Acrylic plastic material is available in various translucent and opaque colors. Acrylic is also a thermoplastic, meaning that it softens under extremely high temperatures. For this reason, acrylic can be formed to virtually any shape. Compared to other plastics, acrylic has superior weathering properties.

Additionally, it can be formed to virtually any shape, however, Vanderveer Industrial Plastics only deals with machining acrylic.

Machining acrylic can be done on our state-of-the-art CNC machinery, which includes Fadal and HAAS Machining Centers.
