Ryton Machining
Ryton® Machined Parts
Ryton® / Techtron® / PPS (polyphenylene sulfide)
Ryton®(PPS) is a glass reinforced material offering extremely high strength, in addition to excellent chemical resistance properties. Possessing the broadest resistance to chemicals out of all the high-performance thermoplastics, Ryton® is ideally suited for precise-tolerance machined components. There is no known solvent that dissolves PPS at temperatures below 392°F. Its low ionic impurities make it an excellent choice for applications where high purity is a concern. A combination of good mechanical properties with excellent thermal and chemical resistance properties, it is ideally suited for plastic components within the automotive and electrical industries.
